We built MeetSaver with privacy as a core principle. Your meeting data belongs to you - it never leaves your device.
MeetSaver captures the following data solely to provide its core functionality:
All meeting chat data is stored exclusively on your local device using the Chrome chrome.storage.local
API.
Data is never uploaded, synced, or shared with any external server, database, or third party. MeetSaver has no backend - there is no server to send data to.
You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the extension or using the "Clear All" button inside the extension.
We do not sell, share, trade, or transfer user personal data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
We use PostHog for privacy-focused product analytics to understand feature usage, performance, and improve user experience.
Analytics data includes non-sensitive usage events such as feature clicks, extension interactions, and performance metrics. It does not include Google Meet chat content, meeting messages, or personal communications.
All analytics data is pseudonymized and used in aggregate form. It is not used to identify individual users.
MeetSaver does not use advertising networks, fingerprinting, or behavioral tracking.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:
If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of MeetSaver after changes means you accept the updated policy.
We will never change this policy in a way that allows user data to be collected or shared without clearly notifying users first.
