📋 What Data We Collect

MeetSaver captures the following data solely to provide its core functionality:

• Chat messages from Google Meet meetings you attend
• Meeting titles and participant names as they appear in chat
• Timestamps of messages
• URLs shared in meeting chats

🚫 What We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or any personal identification
• Your location or IP address
• Your browsing history or activity outside of meeting pages
• Audio, video, or screen content from meetings
• Any financial or health information
• Passwords or authentication credentials

💾 How Data Is Stored

All meeting chat data is stored exclusively on your local device using the Chrome chrome.storage.local API.

Data is never uploaded, synced, or shared with any external server, database, or third party. MeetSaver has no backend — there is no server to send data to.

You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the extension or using the "Clear All" button inside the extension.

🤝 Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, trade, or transfer any user data to any third party under any circumstances.

MeetSaver does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services.

🔑 Permissions Explained

• storage — Saves your meeting chats locally on your device
• tabs — Detects when a Google Meet meeting tab opens or closes
• activeTab — Reads the current tab URL to identify the meeting platform
• notifications — Shows a local notification when a meeting is saved
• meet.google.com — Injects a script to capture chat messages on Google Meet

👤 Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times:

• Delete individual meetings from within the extension
• Clear all saved data using the "Clear All" option
• Uninstall the extension to remove all stored data permanently

🔄 Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of MeetSaver after changes means you accept the updated policy.

We will never change this policy in a way that allows user data to be collected or shared without clearly notifying users first.
